I'm Jessica, the owner, founder, and creative woman who runs Blank Canvas Bookkeeping LLC. The first thing you should know about me is I'm a creative entrepreneur (just like you!) who happens to LOVE BOOKKEEPING! The numbers and making sure every dollar is accounted for drives my passion. I like to think of bookkeeping as a painting. You start with a blank canvas (see what I did there?) where your colors are the numbers, the different accounting tools and programs are your brushes, and once you have everything working together and in place, you get a beautiful masterpiece and complete picture of your business. I want to be the artist who helps to create your masterpiece!

Now some of the nitty gritty details about my background. Working both sides of my brain, I have my MBA in Accounting and a minor in Art. Over the past 10 years I have worked diligently within the accounting profession in different industries. Throughout my career I have noticed a trend that small businesses struggle the most with their bookkeeping, especially us creative folks. Combining my love and knowledge for numbers with my understanding of creative individuals Blank Canvas Bookkeeping was born!
